Valerie Orsoni is a biohacker, wellness expert, and bestselling author known for her science-backed approach to longevity and nutrition. As the founder of LeBootCamp, she has helped thousands optimize their health through functional nutrition, daily habits, and natural biohacking techniques.
Passionate about women’s health, anti-aging, and supplement transparency, Valerie is always exploring new ways to enhance vitality. In our exclusive conversation, she shares her biohacking secrets, thoughts on functional superfoods, and the future of longevity
You emphasize routine as a key pillar of biohacking. What are the non-negotiable daily habits that have had the biggest impact on your health and longevity?
Routine is everything in biohacking. Without consistency, even the best protocols won’t deliver results. My non-negotiables?
Morning sunlight within 30 minutes of waking to anchor my circadian rhythm and boost dopamine naturally.
Supplement stack that I carefully review and optimize every quarter — I currently take over 30 carefully chosen supplements per day, with precise timing depending on goals and absorption.
Movement, even when I travel — from climbing mountains to short MetaBoost routines in hotel rooms or airports.
Cold exposure and breathwork, especially to regulate stress and reset my nervous system.
And perhaps the most underrated: joy and curiosity. Without joy, even the perfect sleep or nutrition protocol can fall flat.
Women’s bodies have unique hormonal needs. How can biohacking be optimized for women, especially when it comes to longevity, energy levels, and brain health?
This is a topic close to my heart. Biohacking can’t be “one size fits all.” For women, we need to account for:
- Hormonal phases — cycling women can benefit from protocols that adapt throughout their cycle (exercise, fasting, supplementation).
- Perimenopause and menopause — where mitochondrial support, adaptogens, and nervous system regulation become even more critical.
- Mental load — Women often carry invisible stress that silently drains energy and disrupts sleep and recovery.
I’m also a big advocate for personalized progesterone protocols, tracking HRV and cortisol, and bringing movement-based joy (like dancing or hiking) back into daily routines.
What emerging trends in biohacking do you believe will transform the way we approach health and longevity in the next five years?
- Peptides, no doubt. I use stacks like TB500, BPC-157, CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin and have seen massive gains in recovery, sleep, and injury repair.
- Wearables & real-time data interpretation — not just tracking, but AI-enhanced coaching based on your metrics.
- Targeted postbiotics and gut-brain axis protocols — a whole new frontier beyond probiotics.
- Personalized female-centric biohacking — we’re entering a new era where women’s health is no longer adapted from male protocols.
There’s a growing concern about transparency in supplements. What do you look for in a supplement brand to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and efficacy?
I look for 3 things:
- Third-party testing & full traceability — If I can’t see where it’s made, I don’t take it.
- Clean formulas — no fillers, no heavy metals, no weird binders.
- Real-world results — I test every supplement on myself, tracking biofeedback, HRV, sleep, and sometimes even lab markers.
I also share only what I use personally, not what pays best. That’s why I’ve negotiated honest discount codes for my community, without sponsorship strings attached.
Biohackers love testing new protocols. What’s the most surprising experiment you’ve done on yourself, and what were the results? So many! But one of the most impactful was my daily glycine protocol (5g morning + 5g evening). It dramatically improved my sleep quality, skin, and inflammation markers.
Another surprising one: I tested metabolic flexibility through fasting and cold exposure at altitude, during my South Pole expedition. Not only did I reach the South Pole in perfect health, I came back stronger — proof that the right training and mindset can unlock extraordinary resilience.
Oh, and let’s not forget: joy and laughter — probably the most underrated biohack of all.
